G10VANN1T has 20 years of experience being in service to queer Leather communities and empowering trans and non-binary folx.

 G10VANN1T has a deep connection with the intersection between queerness, leather, and Spirituality, and recieved the call to spread joy as an Aspirant and Postulant for the following  Sisters of Perpetual indulgence Chapters:

G10VANN1T learned to construct and sew leather in San Francisco as a full-time Leather Fabricator employee in the Production Department of Mr. S. Leather, fabricating leather products 8 hours daily for 3 years from 2013-2015.  At Mr. S Leather, they created fetish gear for the Mr. S Leather store year-round and annually for Folsom Street Fair, Dore Alley/Up Your Alley, IML, IMsL, and MAL.

In 2015, G10VANN1T wrote, directed, and starred in a kink-themed rock opera whose main character was a trans masculine seggs worker who found love, acceptance, and chosen family. This 2-night show played at the Center for Sex and Culture and was funded through the Queer Cultural Center's Creating Queer Communities Grant

From 2005-2015, G10VANN1T worked as an Independent Contractor and Intimacy Coordinator for Queer and Independent  film companies and Event Producers in Chicago, Cleveland, Oakland, and San Francisco.

In 2013, G10VANN1T became part of queer history by volunteering as a dispatcher for Homobiles, The NOTAFLOF (No one turned away for lack of funds) grassroots non-profit ride-share service which pre-dated the current corporate rideshare companies and apps. Homobiles' mission was to ensure that Bay Area community Members who don't feel safe in taxis, walking, or public transportation are able to safely get to their destination unharmed and accommodate their financial situation.

G10VANN1T understands the importance of holding safer consensual queer, kink, and seggs positive spaces through their work experience in 2012 as a Seggs Club attendant at Eros the Center for Safe Sex in San Francisco.

In 2012, G10VANN1T Co-Founded an arts-based fiscally sponsored project which was sponsored by Intersection for the Arts in San Francisco. This project produced ethnotheatre, facilitated queer alt meetups, and curated pop-up art galleries centering local transgender and non-binary artists.

G10VANN1T has been disrupting gender norms and using drastically different gender presentations as long-form performance art, culminating in a short film that spanned 6 years of documenting his social experiment. This film debuted at the Chicago Seggs Workers Film Fest in 2011, and nominated for Best Film by MOTHA (Museum of Transgender & Art) Awards in San Francisco in 2013.

G10VANN1T has supported the HIV/AIDS communities by working as HIV Tester & Health Educator for the State of Illinois HIV/STD/AIDS Hotline, and facilitated a weekly support group for men over 30 with HIV/AIDS at the Center on Halsted in Chicago in 2009.


G10VANN1T's has prior work experience with Museum work as an archivist and mount maker at the Field Museum of Natural history in Chicago, and was fortunate to contributing these skills as a volunteer Archivist Assistant with the Leather Archives & Museum, by organizing and archiving their Leather journal collection in 2008. 

G10VANN1T also has experience managing and performing in spaces that center heterosexual members since 2003 in Chicago and New York.
